Our Brand
Our brand is our reputation. It's what others think when they hear the words "Texas A&M University." We can influence these thoughts to a degree by working together in a guided effort to produce professional and consistent messages, regardless of where the work is produced.
While our Brand Guide covers "the big picture" we want to project, the Visual Identity Guides for Print and Electronic Media provide the tools to help package our messages with the Texas A&M look. These guidelines allow each department to work independently, while maintaining a consistent, professional image across colleges, departments and divisions throughout the university. These guidelines are not meant to hinder progress or compromise creativity. The goal here is simple: to strengthen the Texas A&M University brand.
Understandably, your department or office may be unaware or unconcerned with what other units are doing across the university. Likewise, your high standing serves to strengthen the university's brand, which comes back to benefit your department or office.
So, when you think of our brand, think of the big picture we're projecting, and how your message can reinforce that. And what is it that we're projecting? We want Texas A&M University to be synonymous with our Core Values:
