Colors and Type Online
In addition to branding your site with the university's primary mark, color and typography should also follow brand guidelines.
Specifying a color palette and a set of typefaces helps reinforce a clear, consistent image of the university. In most cases, simply taking the printed color palette and applying it to your web design will not work. Therefore, an entirely separate web color palette was created so online media can appear visually consistent with our printed material.
Likewise, fonts used in print media do not always yield the design results you intend. Therefore, alternate typefaces are specified for use with online media.
